The recruit will join our team and work at our headquarters located in Beirut Central District as a software support engineer to provide after-sales technical support on various software products.

The software support engineer shall address customer questions and concerns regarding the solution they are using. His job involves answering incoming phone calls from clients, providing high-quality technical support and onsite support, onsite training and implementing our solutions, documenting resolutions to problems and participating in offering suggestions for product improvement.

Job functions

The software support engineer responsibilities and tasks includes:

• Training and implementing our solutions
• Managing and processing customer demands
• Filling reports regarding product problems
• Researching customer technical issues
• Walking customer through solutions to problems or incidents
• Learning about solutions updates
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications
• Maintaining an updated database of Known Errors and their resolutions
• Respecting the client’s service level agreements
• Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support or software development
• Up-to-date technical knowledge
• Knowhow in web programming languages and databases such as PHP, MySQL, Ajax, Javascripts… etc.
• Teamwork, Collaboration, Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proactive and self-driven
• Excellent communication in both written and oral form

Education and experience

• Bachelor in computer science or computer engineering or equivalent
• Two years of experience in the IT technical field
• English is a must, additional language is a plus
